Job Description
This position is for a Module Engineer at the FSO Ireland FBE Intel factory based in Leixlip, Co Kildare.
Intel Ireland is an award-winning Green Business Site at the forefront of sustainable plant operations voluntarily investing more than 49 million in energy conservation projects at our Leixlip site.

The FSO-Ireland FBE factory is an Intel wafer factory/fab that specializes in the back-end steps of the wafer fabrication process. We support both High-Volume Manufacturing as well as Technology Development and Pathfinding activities, the positions being hired for are to support the growth of the FBE factory.
Responsibilities:
As a Module Engineer at Intel, you will participate as part of an Engineering team and your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Deliver world class performance on critical success indicators: Safety, Quality, Output and Equipment performance in a highly automated wafer fabrication facility.
Daily process sustaining, development and ramping of new processes to high volume manufacturing for mature and first of a kind processes and semiconductor equipment.
Develop solutions to problems utilizing statistical knowledge and problem-solving tools as well as developing strategies to prevent the recurrence of the problem in future.
Use data extraction, datamining and analysis skills to identify trends/outliers to reduce process variation and drive corrective action plans.
Partner with our 24 by 7 technician team to troubleshoot equipment and process issues to facilitate sustaining operations.
Drive continuous improvement on process and equipment operational indicators to support our future customer demand.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives with your team/organization which will improve the operational performance of the area, such as exploring the use of advanced analytics and AI to make quality and productivity improvements.
Identify innovative solutions to problems and influence required stakeholders to drive/implement change
Work with Virtual Factory partners to implement change across all Intel manufacturing sites.
Work with Equipment suppliers to drive innovative changes to improve equipment reliability.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a minimum of a Level 8 as per National Framework of Qualifications - NFQ in an approved Science or Engineering discipline.Examples include Honours Bachelors L8, Masters L9 or PhD :L10 in a discipline such as; Physics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry (inorganic), Chemical Eng., Electronic Eng., Electrical Eng., Mechanical Eng., Mechatronics, Biomedical Eng., Manufacturing Eng., Production Eng. Nanotechnology, Maths, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical/medical and device manufacturing. This is a non-exhaustive list.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
