Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Front End Developer to join one of North America's largest retail organizations. This will begin as a 6-month contract, with the capacity to extend into a multi-year engagement. We are seeking talent local to the Bengaluru, Karnataka, India region, as this role will occasionally require onsite attendance at our client's physical location. You will be a part of our client's "Bag & Checkout Team" which is responsible for developing new features, maintaining current features and the overhaul and upgrade of their existing repository. While this is primarily a front end focused role, we are also looking for someone with architecture and strategy expertise within the middle tier service. More specifically, we are looking for someone with extensive experience with GraphQL and can improve or restructure their entire middle-tier service. Your role will be to not only maintain affiliated applications and APIs, but also to create enhanced features to the requirements of our client's various stakeholders. You will be responsible for R&D, concepting, and estimating solutions in an agile environment.
Skills and Requirements
3-7 years of frontend, web development experience; ideally from an enterprise, e-commerce or retail domain.
Strong front-end development experience with JavaScript libraries: React.js and Next.js.
Strong experience with middle-tier services: GraphQL and Node.js; and enhancing middle tier services. Knowledge around Micro-Front End Architecture, Single-SPA, Front-end Microservices, Modular Front-End, or Component-Based Architecture
Experience working in an AWS cloud -based environment (i.e. Lambda, CI/CD knowledge, deployment, etc.).
Experience acting in an elevated capacity, i.e. mentoring junior team members, running code reviews, etc. null
