The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the public who visit the Senior Center. The Front Desk Receptionist will make a professional, courteous impression to external and internal customers by greeting, registering, scheduling transportation and assisting with any customer needs to provide exceptional service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Welcoming members to the center and orients them to the services available Answering the telephone Ensure new participants are registered appropriately Tracking attendance of members Typing/word processing of documents Coordinating transportation to and from the senior center Maintaining calendars and setting up meetings Copying, faxing, setting up files, tracking expenses Coordinating building and equipment maintenance

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of customer and/or clerical experience Bilingual in English and Spanish This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease
Preferred Qualifications:
Call center phone experience or receptionist experience Experience of proficient use of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel and Word Proven ability to multitask Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
