The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical, and service goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
Checking eligibilities for all scheduled appointments weekly for current month. Begin checking Mondays for the following week to ensure they are still our patient when we begin confirmation calls
Ensure the EHR banner matches what the eligibilities states
Print the provider schedule for next day and chart prep
Scan current year Humana card and check for Medicare card and photo id
Annual update complete? Make necessary changes in PM
Make confirmation calls-3 calls within 24 hours-ask patients to bring any items that we are missing
Complete any NO SHOW, CX, RS notes by end of business day
Task created for any appointments that have been N/S, CX-3 calls in 24 hours and letter sent
Answer Incoming calls and open incoming mail each day
Check Live Scan daily
Bayshore FD task view checked daily-in the morning and again in the afternoon-should be empty by end of day
Scan pile-ensure records are scanned into the chart
Check email daily
Open and close batch

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting
Beginner level of computer proficiency (including Microsoft Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical office experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
Ability to multi-task
