　　Owns the Fresh Operations team responsible for partnering with Fresh Sourcing Leadership to drive initiatives and support processes impacting multiple Fresh Departments. This includes (1) crafting & facilitating an organized and collaborative Spot Buy process, (2) driving data-rich discovery efforts, (3) leading functional training preparation and delivery, & (4) drives Fresh assortment and specialized harmonization efforts.

　　Recipe for Success - What's "in store" for the role

　　Manage a team responsible for developing robust ways of working among Fresh Category, Suppliers, and Fresh Sourcing to facilitate joint Spot Buys across all ADUSA brands and leverage size and scale to optimize costs.Direct a team responsible for supporting Fresh assortment and specialized harmonization efforts.Accountable to lead and develop sourcing teams; that build consensus and drives discussions at the brand leadership level and above. Drives initiatives within Sourcing through effective execution of team talents & strategies. Builds a sense of purpose within the team and actively engages in ongoing conversations to connect individual and team purpose across functions. Examples: Hires, trains, & develops Fresh Operations team members.

　　The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients

　　8+ years of related Sourcing, Negotiating, Category, & Vendor Management experience.2+ years demonstrated success leading people/teams.Bachelor's degree or equal combination of education and related work experience; Master's degree preferred.

　　Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table

　　Proficiency with both financial competence (P&L management), & understanding & interpreting commodity markets. Demonstrated success with educating others on these topics.Proven record of influencing others. Drives independent interaction and leadership with senior leadership levels across the organization.Certifications and/or licenses preferred in Sourcing, Negotiation, Project Management/ Facilitation or Organizational Change.Skilled in developing and delivering presentations.Proven facilitation skills over multiple media types (video conferences, TEAMS, Skype, conference calls, in-person meetings, etc.) with varying size groups (typically 5-25)Proficiency in Microsoft suite, strong communication & presentation skills (verbal and written), Ability to interpret and react to syndicated data reports (e.g. IRI, etc.)Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Conflict resolution skills & general knowledge of industry and suppliers.
