The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth disciplinary knowledge to generate and analyze reports as well as contribute to the development of new techniques to improve processes and work-flow.
Responsibilities:
Participation in the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes,
Generate flash results/highlights for Board of Directors’ reports and Executive Management reports,
Contribute to the development of review material for internal leadership and external regulator reviews,
Business performance monitoring, including: month end tracking (P&L / BS), efficiency metrics monitoring, metrics/drivers review, trend & variance analysis, YTD Business result vs Plan monitoring (top to bottom), financial data accuracy review and remediation (cooperation with other Units: e.g. Services, Markets, Risk, Finance, Operations&Technology), clients acquisition/activation/attrition analysis,
Aid with using metrics to evaluate proposed business decisions,
Conduct various ad hoc analyses and strategically address issues that are complementary to the regular Planning and Analysis processes,
Assist in building strategy for CCB (Commercial Bank),
Coordinate CCB FP&A tasks/activities with global team,
Day to day managing CCB client Base in Bank booking systems.
Involvement in preparing data for Scorecard of CCB employees,
Has the ability to cooperate with different departments on local and global levels.
Qualifications:
Few years of experience in finance, strategic planning
Experience in financial services and product knowledge preferred
Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools
Demonstrated analytical skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoints, PowerBI, others
Project management skills preferred
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Very good English and Polish is a must
Master degree
