Eaton's Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a FP&A Manager. This position is located at our Waukesha, WI location. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US/PR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $116250.03 - $170500.04 a year.

What you'll do:
The FP&A Manager has financial planning and reporting responsibility for the nearly $1.0B Power Reliability Division within the Electrical Sector - Americas. The PRD business has international responsibility with locations in the U.S. and Mexico. Role responsibilities include forecasting, reactive and proactive analysis of results, presentation to senior leadership, coordination of internal controls and coordination of sector requests into communication, direction and guidance to the plants, marketing, and engineering teams. The role provides accounting analysis and support to both finance and non-finance personnel and is also responsible for planning and control of the business ledger with several activity centers in it including R&D, Selling, General Management and various restructuring and/or M&A actions, as needed. The FP&A manager takes a lead role in the continuous improvement process within the accounting department. This leader needs to be well versed with corporate financial policy and procedures and to act as the coordinator of the various accounting activities on a day to day basis.
Provide financial analysis and assistance to the PRD Finance Director through an in-depth understanding of company accounting policies and practices and business operations.Analyze and determine cause of period to period changes and provide other relevant financial analysis of the business.Report, analyze and verify accuracy of financials. Provide information and assistance to plants within the organization regarding these financials. Assume role of trainer in financial matters, policies, and procedures within the organization.Participate and assist in balance sheet reviews and physical inventories.Lead and direct monthly closings and the forecasting process.Assist with the preparation of profit plan, strategic plan, operating reviews, and reporting of financial data and analysis.Provide a monthly financial reporting / forecast package directly to the VP/GM of PRD.Perform / review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure proper reserves on all accounts.Lead and perform special projects as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited institutionMinimum of 7 years of experience in progressive finance/accounting rolesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Master's degree from an accredited institutionExperience within the manufacturing industryLeader of people experienceKnowledge of financial software packages; Oracle financials, Hyperion, Qlikview, Vista, Mentor, Power Bi, Mapics, SAPMust possess an in-depth understanding of the cost accounting, and financial planning and forecasting systems

Strong working knowledge of systems such as payroll, fixed assets, invoicing, order entry, cost improvement and price realization programs.Given the nature of the accounting department, a service and support to the rest of the organization, it is important that the position possess good communication skills, multi-task management skills, and strong creative and analytical skills. Strong organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to monitor the financial process to determine that related systems and processes are operating within control.Ability to travel up to 20%
