Manager, Corporate Finance - Planning
As a Manager on the Corporate Finance team you will be a strategic partner to our global logistics and finance teams. You will provide the critical analyses and drive the strategies needed to support our global supply chain's goals and objectives. This role presents the opportunity to partner across divisions and functional areas on a daily basis, giving you exposure to C-level executives and business leaders across TJX.
Additionally, you will manage a team of Financial Analysts & Senior Financial Analysts to assist Senior Leadership with driving business decisions. Day-to-day, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic decisions for the leading off-price retailer in the world.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to build out new processes and forecasting tools, and present findings and recommendations to Senior Executives. Further, thinking critically, analyzing effectively, and communicating efficiently is required.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Logistics Strategy & Analytics and Divisional Finance teams to develop new processes and financial models that will provide efficient and accurate forecasting for the store delivery service center networkOversee & perform financial forecasting & reporting with excellent attention to detail, ensuring deadlines are metSupport annual and long-range budget models for Logistics and Distribution ServicesPerform analysis to provide relevant Executive-level guidance on business performance and areas of risk and opportunityOversee and deliver financial updates to Head of Logistics, CFOs & COOs Provide financial analytics to support contract negotiations with 3PL partnersWork on various ad-hoc analysis to drive profitability & increase efficiencies in supply chainManage and mentor associates on training and professional developmentBuilding relationships with operational partners across the business, such as Logistics, Distribution Centers, and Store Operations and act as a liaison between operational partners and Finance Deliver strategy and recommendations on various initiatives across all levels of ManagementDeliver presentations with strong messaging and recommendations to senior leadershipResponsible for development and execution of standard reporting with strong attention to detail
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fieldsAt least 5 years of experience working in a business planning environmentPrior experience leading teams in a dynamic, fast paced environmentStrong communication skills with an ability to acquire and analyze information and draw business solutionsAbility to create and deliver concise/efficient summaries, insights, and recommendations to Executive Level managementAbility to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage constantly evolving assignments in a team environmentExcellent quantitative and analytical skills, and reporting on large amounts of dataHigh level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business informationExcellent attention to detailProficient PC skills: Microsoft Office Excel (pivot tables, function logic, and lookup/reference formulas and charts); Access or other data applications a plus
