Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be on foundry account team that collaborates with BUs, internal cross functional teams and foundry suppliers to deliver supply chain sourcing excellence for Intel's External Manufacturing. As part of External Manufacturing Sourcing organization, the foundry account team manages the outsourcing of Intel's businesses, and facilitates One Voice, responsible for the overall performance of the foundry suppliers. The group partners with internal design team and business units to develop sourcing and supply chain solutions to enable Intel's products. This position will collaborate with foundry team comprising of team members spread across the US and Asia, formulates and execute foundry sourcing strategies, drives secured supply in support of Intel's current business and product roadmap. The account manager will ensure the foundry supply chain meets Intel's supply, technology and cost requirements to support product roadmap. The role is also responsible to manage sourcing plan, formulate negotiation plan, coordinate and execute commercial negotiations and contracting activities for Intel.
The Senior foundry account manager will be responsible for but not limited to
Sourcing strategy and execution: Proactively partner with business units (BU) and cross functional teams to deliver external manufacturing supply chain solutions aligned with multi-generational product roadmaps. This includes identifying and shaping the sourcing strategies and engaging in the supplier evaluation for new opportunities.Commercial negotiations and contracting: Assess new business opportunities with the supplier based on Intel roadmap and develop a sourcing strategy.Drive commercial negotiation with the supplier to ensure the best sourcing for Intel.Manage the disciplined process of documenting contracts through Intel business practices.Ownership of the contractual framework with the supplier and its compliance with Intel's legal and business requirements (including IP protection).Meet regulatory requirements through contracting and through management oversight (for example export license for engineering and production).Develop deep Supplier knowledge: Know the supplier, their culture, vision/mission, market positioning, financial positioning, RnD trend and technology roadmap synergies, executive body strength, and expertise, maintain a solid relationship with key supplier executives, structural cost understanding, manufacturing operations, and supply chain understanding internal dynamics (example business processes, decision forums, approvals).A clear understanding of internal processes and compliance as we navigate through the complexities will be preferred.Supplier Management: Influence suppliers with leadership status in the industry. Establish a relationship and navigate engagement with the supplier, influencing the executive level to drive Intel's Agenda.Agility: Adapt and swiftly respond to changes in the business environment. Orchestration Skills: Proactively shape and orchestrate foundry-related sourcing information digestible at all levels of the company.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel Immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. Degree in Engineering, or related field of study.8+ years of semiconductor industry experience5+ years of business or supplier management role with commercial negotiations or experienced in foundry business and operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or business management certificate7+ years of business account management experience, management position.5+ years in working in a fabless environment, with external manufacturing (foundries) or OSAT suppliers.5+ years of experience in contracting

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $177,239.00-$283,471.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
