Foundational and Advanced Competency Learning Program Manager

We know that the average Associate has a desire and need to learn and develop certain skills in order to be effective in their role. The Peer Learning & Competency team provides competency learning experiences for nonexecutive audiences to equip Associates with the skills and behaviors necessary for effective job performance at Capital One. The majority (90+%) of Capital One learning experiences are delivered through our thriving Peer Learning Community, which provides opportunities to our Associates who are passionate about helping others learn and grow both professionally and personally.
Who We’re Looking For:
Our team is searching for a Foundational & Advanced Competency Learning Program Manager who can help us execute the competency strategy by maintaining, managing and evolving the portfolio of competency based courses, and the delivery needs for them, to meet the learning needs of our clients. Ideally, this person would:
Build and maintain trusting relationships with our key partners, facilitators, clients and stakeholders
Manage the recruiting, certification, sourcing, troubleshooting and engagement processes of all competency peer facilitators
Drive the execution of the competency strategy forward through proactive, responsive and strategic process and program management excellence
Proactively synthesize qualitative and quantitative learner, facilitator and stakeholder information to ensure the portfolio is run efficiently and effectively to meet our clients needs and when there are opportunities, leverage the information to understand the root of problem(s)
Leverage data to effectively determine quarterly open enrollment offerings based on learner demand and consumption data
A Typical Day Might Look Like This:
Efficiently and effectively manage facilitator interactions pertaining to certification, engagement, recruitment, etc.
Collaborate with the Ops Support team to ensure all upcoming courses are sourced and troubleshoot any sourcing challenges that might arise
Intake new closed session requests and ensure completeness
Execute consultation with clients as needed if information is missing from the intake form or questions arise from their closed session request
Monitor course enrollment and waitlist data to inform demand planning for open enrollment courses
Conduct internal research to identify area(s) of opportunity within the portfolio and recommend solutions
Facilitate course(s) when we are unable to secure a facilitator and rescheduling is not a viable option

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of program or process management experience or a combination of both
At least 1 year of facilitation experience with in-person and virtual audiences
At least 1 year of relationship management experience
At least 1 year of experience in Google Suite such as Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience using learning technologies such as Enterprise LMS, social learning platforms, or online learning content providers
1+ years of experience in consulting or stakeholder management or a combination of both
1+ years of experience in data research and analysis
1+ years of experience in Agile methodology
1+ years of experience in strategy development or execution or a combination of both
1+ years of experience in Learning and Development or Human Resources or a combination of both
