Description:
With river-to-river views, Bar54 is New Yorks' highest rooftop bar and a premier location for a night out on the town. The Food and Beverage
Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the bar, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws
as well as all operating procedures. Additional responsibilities may include but not limited to staffing, scheduling, and
training. This person must have strong communication and analytical skills and general knowledge about spirits, wines
and beers. Beverage cost control experience is helpful. This person oversees the different functions of the food and beverage areas
including banquets, restaurant, room service and bar at different times within the hotel.
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years minimum bar/lounge experience
Union experience preferred
Experienced in running events preferred
Problem solving ability
Hospitality experience a plus
Willing to work nights and weekends.
A proven track record of timely task completions.
