　　Work involves the performance of maintenance work on automobiles, lightand heavy-duty trucks, tractors, construction equipment, streetsweepers, firefighting, police, and other related auxiliary equipment.Employees in this class are required to perform chassis lubrication,engine oil and filter changes, liquid level inspections, and an overallinspection of the vehicle being services. Employees in this class willbe required to assist mechanics in the performance of their duties. Workis performed under general supervision and is normally reviewed uponcompletion through the test driving of equipment, work reports prepared,and through the observation of results obtained.
