The Shamrock Foods Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible foroperating the safest and most cost-effective fleet in the industry whilemeeting all State and Federal laws and regulations.
Essential Duties:
Coordinate the maintenance of all equipment, including tractors andtrailers, as measured by industry standards, DOT compliance laws andcompany policies regarding equipment maintenance.Manage, perform or delegate any other any other Fleet Administrativefunctions; Fleet maintenance records (DOT purposes), licensing,emissions and any other Fleet related items.Analyze all maintenance and fueling costs to control expendituresand stay with-in planned budgets.Interview, hire and train individuals for Shamrock Foods Fleetpositions according to SFC policies as measured by recruitment andturnover rate.Ensure Safety is a top priority with all employees.Perform evaluations of Shamrock Foods Fleet Facility staff.Plan, assign and direct daily Fleet Operations that support theDivisions in achieving their goals, initiatives and tasks.Maintain and manage mobile repair fleet at yards without maintenancefacilitiesMaintain the Fleet Maintenance & Fueling Facility.Ensure adherence to all Federal, State and Local regulations lawsand guidelines for the Fleet Maintenance & Fuel Facility.Other duties as required.Qualifications:
5+ years of Diesel truck fleet maintenance management experienceHigh School diplomaExperience with Diesel truck fleet maintenance operating system (TMWsystems is preferred)Current CDL Class A and acceptable MVR for the previous 39 months ispreferredCandidate must be at least 21 years of ageMust be flexible to work with the demands of the department whichincludes overnights, weekends, holidays and travel when neededCorporate Summary:
