  Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First Line Manufacturing Managers (Level K) to support teams in Portland, Oregon on multiple shifts.

  A successful leader will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate the BPS (Boeing Production System) culture, tools and key performance indicators. Curiosity, drive, accountability, focus and an unwavering dedication to see our people and business successful are core to this role.

  Position Responsibilities:

  Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.

  Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners and direct reports.

  Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  Leads, develops and motivates employees.

  This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

  Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  Able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.

  3+ years in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.

  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

  Previous leadership experience in a machining environment.

  Experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools.

  Team leadership (formal or informal) experience.

  Emotional intelligence and resilience.

  Relocation:

  This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

  Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  Summary Pay Range: $115,900-$134,200
