The Fire Life Safety and Security Systems Office Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Siemens Customer Service Center (CSC), with its main headquarters in Irving, Texas, and outlying sites in Beltsville, MD, and Birmingham, AL. The Customer Service Center consists of a customer support center and a central monitoring station (CMS). The supervisor will indoctrinate all new employees, certify I-9s and administrative onboard them into the Siemens system. The supervisor will also be intimately involved in all invoicing and purchase order operations and will prepare those documents for the Director to approve. The supervisor also has responsibility for the completion various permits and licenses required by the Siemens outlying Branches. There is an additional of morale/welfare purchasing of promotional products required. In addition, there is a requirement to schedule travel for the Director and, on occasions, other managers, and arrange catering for occasional internal meetings.
As the Fire Life Safety and Security Systems Office Supervisor you will:
Conduct orientation for all new employees and exit protocols for departing staff
Process incoming invoices for all CSC-owned cost centers, occasionally working with other financial stakeholders to assign funding responsibilities
Prepare and submit purchase orders (POs) for internal purchases for the department
Administer to the various licensing and permit requirements that appear on a recurring basis
Schedule travel and submit expense reports for the Director
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service, office administration or office management role
Minimum 1 year experience in an accounts payable and/or accounts receivable role
Comfortable in a matrixed environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders
High school diploma or state-recognized GED
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with SAP and Smartsheet
Accounting experience
Experience in a Central Monitoring Station
Experience as an office manager in a technical company

The pay range for this position is $51,030 - 87,480. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
