Job Description: Amazon is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic L4-Payroll Manager to join the fast paced world of Payroll operations. UK Payroll is processed on a weekly and monthly basis, and this person will lead the UK monthly Ops team and ensure Payroll is processed with highest standards, controllership & compliance.
Core deliverables,
Lead end-to-end UK monthly Payroll operations.
Monitoring real time service levels and schedule adherence.
Manage complex payroll queries & escalations
Vendor operations management: Point of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, HR Services, Local HR, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others).
Projects: process improvement (Six Sigma), country expansions, new payroll setup
Should be excellent in customer service, detailed, strong problem solving abilities and proactive in approach.
People - Leading a team up to 6-7 payroll analysts including hiring, developing and providing coaching.
Amazon Finance Operations / Payroll team is looking for individuals with Expertise in the,
Overall 7+ years of Payroll experience.
Knowledge on employment Taxes & benefits management
Solid understanding of Payroll controllership, compliance and quality aspects
Along with Payroll, the individual having auditing skills, problem-solving skills, payroll system knowledge is required.
Must have people management experience.
Preferred Qualification
Graduation/Post Graduation
Experience in end-end Payroll cycle management
Certification in Process improvement initiative, projects. Such as GB, YB Lean certification.
Product transition experience is plus.
CIPP certification is plus.
