  Purpose:

  In this role, the FI Support Analysts will be responsible for a variety of activities that support the successful onboarding, ongoing production maintenance, technology expansion, and strategic industry partnership opportunities for large financial institutions and distribution partners. The FI Analysts will work closely with the Onboarding team, the Automation team, and our IT partners to support the implementation and ongoing support for business and technology needs for the Financial Institutions channel. In addition, the role will support our lead industry liaison to monitor and participate in various industry driven forums, ensuring Athene is recognized as a strategic industry leader. This role will also support case management for a concierge annuity product offering dealing with high net worth clients and their producers.

  The candidate for this position will preferably have a broad understanding of annuity or insurance products, and familiarity with order entry platforms and administration platforms, as well as the interdependencies between them. This role will be focused on providing timely, accurate, and effective communication to our internal and external partners. This position will provide support and coordination between internal business and technical teams, distribution partners, and industry counterparts, focusing on the overall support required to be branded best-in-class by external distribution and industry competitors.

  Accountabilities:

  Partner with Onboarding, Automation, and collective Insurance Operations and IT teams to:

  Support the onboarding implementation needs of new Financial Institution (FI) distribution partners

  Provide ongoing support for distribution partner technology needs

  Provide scoping, requirement gathering, and project support for FI related needs

  Serve as primary contact for the reporting and resolution of FI production issues raised by Business Relationship Managers and Sales teams.

  Assist in the research, analysis, and resolution of moderate to complex production issues experienced by FI partners.

  Assist with testing of order entry platforms and distribution technology in support of production issue resolution efforts.

  Provide production verification for periodic FI related releases

  Act as a liaison between Onboarding, Automation, IT and business stakeholders to provide FI support.

  Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization

  Provide concierge case management for a high-net-worth annuity product offering

  Facilitates application review & issuance

  Facilitates post-issue case management

  Coordinates written correspondence

  Manages inbound/outbound customer and producer calls and inquiries

  Provides exemplary service to high-net-worth clients and their financial advisors

  Industry Collaboration Support

  Attend and participate in industry working group and strategic vendor partner meetings

  Support internal reporting and communication regarding industry and strategic vendor partner ongoing activity

  Support management of a Microsoft Teams Sharepoint for industry and strategic partner current affairs

  Assist industry liaison in building business case studies for prioritized industry solutions

  Provide statistical and return-on-investment support for ongoing industry initiatives

  Provide Athene best-interest data and feedback to ensure industry driven efforts align with Athene’s goals.

  Qualifications and Experience:

  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education

  4+ years of professional/technical work experience required

  Strong understanding of annuity products and operational process

  Familiarity with Order Entry platforms and administration systems

  Results oriented, self-motivated individual who takes ownership over assignments

  Strong problem solving, communication, and conflict management skills

  Ability to motivate and influence peers

  Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Visio, as well as Jira and Confluence

  Must be curious, organized, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment

  Embraces changes and assists in guiding others through change

  Understanding of and adherence to agile best practices and processes
