FINANCE COORDINATOR - Well Respected Professional Services Firm in Atlanta
My client, a well-respected professional services firm, is searching for a Finance Coordinator who will be responsible for operational and financial support for assigned subsidiaries. The ideal candidate for this position will have a general knowledge of business operations and project life cycle to work with a variety of internal client teams in several different areas within the organization.
What You Get to do Every Day:
Perform monthly billing, manage billing schedules and accounts receivables.
Manage contractor budgets and associated reporting.
Review and process purchases and expense reports against client statements of work to ensure adherence to SOW and project budget.
Manage WIP reconciliation of advanced billings against actual expenses and research any discrepancies to ensure proper tracking.
Revenue Management including forecasting, planning and monthly revenue recognition.
Manage client team meetings to provide status and track progress.
Continually monitor internal processes that improve efficiency to support company growth.
Provide internal reports as requested.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, or other business related field of study required.
2+ years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated technical proficiency.
Understanding for GAAP in the area of revenue recognition, preferably in a services environment.
Prior NetSuite experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
Financial analytic skills to compile and interpret data sets.
Critical thinking/problem solving skills to resolve day to day challenges.
Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated relationship building capabilities (internal and external) and an understanding of the intricacies of department services.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to vendors, management and staff.
