Job Description
FINANCIAL COORDINATOR, Sloan School of Management-Office of Executive Education-Finance and Administrative Support Team, to serve as in-house accountant for internal accounts related to the open enrollment programs ($18M revenue), a portfolio of 50+ programs delivered two to three times annually. Key responsibilities will include leading the process and approval of program budget development and quarterly reporting for the open enrollment program portfolio, providing ad hoc analysis as needed; managing revenue transfers and uploads into central accounting systems, requiring coordination with central MIT offices (e.g., Office of the Vice President for Finance) and Sloan’s finance and human resources offices; coordinating with the director of finance, administration and strategic initiatives on the execution and management of all internal accounting processes; critically evaluating business and financial processes and working to streamline those processes when possible; and providing insight to the director for strategic planning and coordinating implementation of projects as identified by the director. Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least two years of relevant financial experience; ability to perform hands-on work in a team-based work group with complex needs and varying levels of experience; financial systems experience; service orientation; excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; and discretion and judgment with confidential information and/or issues. PREFERRED: Salesforce experience. Job #23580-6Salary range: $54,820 - 72,175 - 89,530. New hires can generally expect to be paid between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.1/2/24
