Delivers quality analysis, investigation and resolution of the monthly results and variances. Maintains key financial relationships with functional level management including directly supporting director level requirements. Provides analysis and recommendations on a variety of ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities:
Drive continuous process improvement by promoting automation, efficiency, and cross-team collaboration by using RPA, Power BI, Power App or Power Query.
Makes recommendations and works on reporting and variance analysis,
OPEX - Monthly budget review.
Revenue and GM reporting.
Liaise with department managers and effectively communicate financial OPEX.
Assists Commercial Finance in the analysis of performance trends or any adhoc analysis on revenue & OPEX and investigates significant variance.
Design and production of key management reports with appropriate narrative and explanations.
Supporting month end accounting activity.
Coach junior analysts; serves as the subject matter expert on updating standards and regulations into ongoing process steps.
Provide revenue & financial reporting, business insight analysis, and continuous improvement of country business processes.
Perform other duties as may be reasonably assigned within the jobholder's capability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Appropriate professional qualification/certification to practice finance in country/region preferred
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
Broad knowledge of accounting practices and principles
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
Advanced Excel and database skills
Advanced experience with ERP systems, Oracle, OBI, SAP
High degree of accuracy
Confident at working to deadlines
Prior experience of working within a Finance department is essential
