What you will be doing
Under general direction of the Finance Manager, performs various financial analyses for regional and distribution services finance operations as well as generates revenue reports for the sales & marketing functions. Provides financial reporting to management to ensure revenues and expenses are monitored and operational issues relative to finance are highlighted and addressed.
Create the monthly estimate, annual plan, and annual long range plan and related variance analysis and other financial analysis to support projections.Analyze monthly results in order to provide insights to business partners and stakeholders on the operations.Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders with regard to projection creation as well as variance analysisAssist business in evaluating initiatives to generate savings and measuring the results after implementationAssist accounting with the monthly close processes with entries and reclasses as required to ensure expenses are recorded to the correct accountAd hoc analysis and project work to support the operations and finance team as needed.
Location: Hybrid with expectation to work in-office two days per week at our Conshohocken, PA Headquarters.
What your background should look like
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) to six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
Knowledge of various financial management areas such as credit and collection principles, commercial credit, uniform commercial code, financial statement analysis, business law, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis.Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writingStrong interpersonal skillsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsStrong organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to follow and interpret profit and loss statementsAbility to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practicesKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
