Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless is seeking a Financial Analyst for a dynamic, technically advanced business setting. The role includes budget-to-actual reporting and reconciliation, business case modeling, and vendor account reconciliation. With our company experiencing growth and evolving processes, this position presents opportunities for impactful contributions to the Commercial, Enterprise, Product, and Wholesale teams. We're looking for someone who can foster strong relationships and offer financial oversight in a rapidly expanding environment.
In this role, you will:
Analyze monthly financial performance and assist with month-end close activities.
Develop and manage monthly models for key operational and financial metrics, including KPI scorecards.
Create and present financial models for proposed projects to leadership, providing recommendations and financial implications.
Monitor profit and loss at the project level.
Ensure timely processing of purchase orders and payment of invoices to meet contractual obligations.
Generate clear, well-formatted reports conveying compelling messages for the business.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business development teams as needed.
Maintain financial accuracy and data integrity as a steward of financial information.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
As a successful Financial Analyst II, you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or MS Finance preferred, but not required.
3+ years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in telecom or tech industries.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Familiarity with financial tools such as Smartview and Onestream is advantageous.
Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts, including Accruals, Reversal, and GAAP principles.
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, exceptional problem-solving, and strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and well-developed oral and written presentation abilities, capable of summarizing complex concepts into clear, understandable materials for effective communication with senior executives.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
