2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyses, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements
3. Job Description
Forecast, track, analyze topline and P/L as well as support monthly /quarterly /annual forecasting and budgeting process (i.e. support MBR, QBR, AOP, etc.)
Independently investigate data issues and/or information given, ask pertinent questions and identify root causes, collaborate with service business partners and system support to improve data quality
Collaborate with business partners to generate key assumptions and drivers for decision support, independently supervise performance indicators, conduct ad hoc data analysis to identify business insights and observations
Build and update dashboards, PowerPoint and other business intelligence tools by data-mining in various systems
Translate business inputs into financial assumptions, build and maintain forecast models to project future business trends, results, etc. covering areas including revenue, pricing, operating expense, CAPEX etc.
Develop and continually improve operating plans, financial projections, and operating forecasting process to improve quality and accuracy of information and analysis. Support commercial leadership to meet divisional finance reporting and analysis requirements
Liaise with global division/commercial/finance as well as APJ commercial/finance
4. Qualification
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related field
Thorough understanding in financial accounting
2+ years experiences in FP&A or commercial finance roles
Proficiency with data analysis, reporting and visualization tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Hyperion
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail and ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
High learning agility and desire for continuous learning
Ability to work effectively in matrix organization in multinational organization
Good communication and interpersonal skill with team and other stakeholders
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese
