Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A - Hyperion
Omnicell is seeking a motivated finance professional to join its Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This person will run the Oracle EPM (Hyperion) application environment for FP&A and help optimize budgeting, reporting, and forecasting functions. This position will have broad exposure to the global business and reports to the Senior Director, FP&A and Treasury.
Responsibilities:
Maintain Oracle EPM (Hyperion) and support all system users including troubleshooting issues and helping to query data and create reports
Work closely with IT to support upstream and downstream Oracle EPM (Hyperion)process dependencies
Provide training and onboarding support to the end-users including access, system overview & reporting
Closely co-ordinate with GL team during month-end close for actuals data integrity
Provide support to global finance users during monthly forecast, month end close and ad-hoc analytic reporting in financial planning system
Author user and admin training materials and provide hands-on training sessions to new users
Document workflow and maintain knowledge of how the integrated data flows together
Consult with end users to foster knowledge sharing/training, troubleshoot issues, and advocate solutions to address gaps and pain points
Assist in driving the corporate forecasting review process with the businesses including Annual Operating Plans, Monthly/Quarterly P&Ls and quantify quarterly risks and opportunities
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and update Excel models
Required Knowledge and Skills :
Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
Oracle EPM (Hyperion) Super User
Strong systems and database understanding
Self-starter with a positive attitude
Must be an organized thinker with a strong process background
Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff
Ability to work well both independently and as a team
Possess extreme attention to detail and produce accurate work
Have strong work ethic, patience and customer service orientation
Ability to solve problems and analyze data to provide meaningful reports and recommendations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrable FP&A, accounting or business operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Three plus (3+) years of demonstrable experience FP&A experience
Strong accounting/finance background
Prior experience working with both SAP and Oracle EPM (hyperion)
