MITRE is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst for the Corporate Business Partners team. This role requires strong technical and modeling capabilities, with the ability to transform data into clear and compelling visuals. As a lead financial analyst, you will support management with the financial impacts of key business decisions. You will develop analytical infrastructure that scales, build new tools and models, and prepare executive presentations.
This is a hybrid role and can be worked in either our McLean, VA or Bedford, MA offices.

Development and delivery of high value analytical frameworks and tools that enables an understanding of the business performance drivers
Drive operational improvement and scalability by developing repeating analysis
Understanding and communication of the financial results and identification of actions required to realize opportunities and mitigate risks
Development and delivery of executive level briefings
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (i.e., Pivot tables & Core functions) and Microsoft PowerPoint for visualization creation
Proficient in the use of Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Ability to develop tools and frameworks to identify problems and propose solutions
Develop financial projections using various methods and tools
Communicate financial results effectively with powerful visual narratives and storytelling
Analyze and diagnose business drivers and variances to budget using various financial systems
Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance professionals
Ability to apply a broad range of analytical techniques to identify business issues, opportunities, and risks
Ability to understand the implications of decisions at a business unit level and the connection to the enterprise overall, including impact to metrics (Rates & Price)
Consensus builder; Promote ideas and gain buy-in on new approaches
Mindset of continuous improvement with the capacity to drive change
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer candidates with an MBA and prior Corporate FP&A experience
Working knowledge of CAS & FAR regulations
Experience with Tableau and Deltek Costpoint preferred
