Headquartered in Wendell, NC (20 miles East of downtown Raleigh, NC), the EA Business Unit has a diverse portfolio of products including but not limited to electric-vehicle chargers, low voltage motor control centers, compact modular reclosers, distribution switches, medium voltage switchgear, medium voltage circuit breakers, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relays.
We are looking for a Financial Analyst . This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
Overview:
Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation (EA) is looking for a dynamic, result oriented financial analyst to join our finance team in the greater Raleigh, NC area. If you are seeking upward mobility in your career in a fast paced, growing business then look no further. This role offers a flexible work structure requiring the employee to be in the office 3 days per week with the other days being remote.
Report directly to the Factory Controller and play a critical role in the EA Operations Finance team
This role will support financial analysis for the EA Wendell factory
This is the chance to develop manufacturing financial analysis, product costing, inventory analysis, and other manufacturing accounting skill sets
Responsibilities:
Support financial analysis for the Wendell manufacturing plant
Responsible for all product costing of standard and configured product in SAP
Drive inventory analysis for the factory by reviewing turns, safety stock, work in process, excess & obsolete material
Support production planning with production order variance analysis
Work with Procurement team to set standard costs for product lines manufactured in the Wendell factory
Collaborate with factory leadership team and strategic procurement preparing business cases to drive cost savings projects
Prepare monthly factory KPI’s and support factory presentations for area of responsibility
Work on SAP and Salesforce.com digitalization projects to drive efficiency
Create and optimize reporting and analysis through digital tools like Tableau, Salesforce.com
Analyze monthly financial results through variance analysis and provide commentary on deviations
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or other degrees which align with the role
Excel, PowerPoint and SAP proficiency required
2-5 years of experience in product costing and financial analysis
Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment
Must have excellent written & oral communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively across various functional departments and levels of management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge in Medium Voltage switchgear

The pay range for this position is $59,430 - $101,880. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
