Function, Team, and Role:
As a Finance Treasury intern, you will independently performs less complex analysis and assists with projects to achieve treasury objectives.
Assignment and Responsibility:
Cash Management
• Assists with certain aspects of day-to-day cash Management operations e.g. account structure, fee Management
• Assists with preparation of daily cash position
• Analyzes banking activities to help support decision making
• Assists with supporting various internal Partners on day-to-day queries
• Work closely with Client Support team from the bank on projects or issues
• Assists with various Treasury led projects
• Generates periodic reports timely with key Treasury information to support Management decision
• Prepares SOX compliance reports
• Assists with year-end banking confirmation
• Supports timely Updates of database in the Treasury Management System
• Updates banking mandate and assists with the setup of e-banking users
Liquidity Planning and Control
• Collects data and Prepares analysis for cash flow forecasts report and other relevant report to help support funding decision
• Generates Management reports and Treasury related processes
• Assists with SOX and policy compliance and test for relevant areas of responsibility
• Assists with various Treasury led projects
• Generates periodic reports with key Treasury information to support Management decision
• Supports SOX compliance processes with key Partners
Requirements and qualifications:
• Being fluent in English, speaking and writing is a requirement.
• Important tools will be MS PowerPoint, MS word (Move downwards)
• Advantage to be proficient with Tableau
• Proficient in Advanced Microsoft excel
• Comfortable with independent learning and minimal supervision
• Third or final year Bachelor's undergraduate in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred
• Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between May - August 2024)
