Description
Amazon is looking for a Finance Analyst who is excited to learn the ropes in Finance Operations! The candidate will have the opportunity to gain various skills such as diligence in data-entry, excellent communications, complex problem-solving skills, and relationship management through working across various teams, as well as Amazon's vendors.
The candidate will also learn how to have an action-driven approach though working proactively Vendor Account issues. The candidate will learn to identify gaps, issues, and errors and should find areas of improvement to discuss with the team, and the team manager.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working on complex vendor disputes and resolving the queries in a time bound manner
• Meet or exceed applicable metrics of the process assigned.
• Working on underlying issues and fixing the root cause/s
• Manage vendor disputes via inbound email and outbound calls.
• Strengthen customer relationships by responding to questions and concerns to Amazon's employees, as well as Amazon's external vendors.
• Efficiently manage disputes and issues by pro-actively coordinating with Amazon's vendors and employees.
• Understand the pain points of vendors and resolve disputes.
• Providing prompt, efficient, detailed, customer- service to vendors.
• Perform other projects and duties as required.
A day in the life
Working Conditions:
• Normal Office Environment.
• Report daily to the Pasay office.
• This role will primarily be reporting on mid-shifts however, the candidate should be amenable to work on graveyard shifts upon the business' request.
• The candidate should be amenable to work on local holidays since various regions will be supported.
• The candidate should be amenable to render overtime on critical and peak seasons.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any Finance-related field
• Amicable to taking Inbound and Outbound calls and if necessary, work overtime.
• Proficient in the English language.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Flexible to work in shifting schedule.
• Exemplifies traits of being a Team player, has good interpersonal skills, hardworking, adaptable and detail oriented.
• Can work under pressure and with deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service focus.
• Has the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

• Preferably with a Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting as Major Subject.
• Prior experience of at least 2 years in similar role in Finance & Accounting role as an Analyst or work in a BPO industry catering to customer needs.
• Preferably with Accounts receivable or cash application experience.
• A desire to take responsibility and ownership for projects from day one.
• A drive for continuous learning and self-development.
• A person who is self-motivated and driven.
