Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to be a key member of the AWS AI and Machine Learning team. This role will be a FP&A lead as well as supporting key AI services. This role works across the AIML Finance organization to drive the financial reporting and business insights into performance, lead the close processes, and drive process improvements across the organization. Additionally, this role will own end to end finance support including P&L management and planning for AI services. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple and time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

Manage and develop the financial analysis processes for AWS AIML.
Partner with and proactively communicate across the finance community to coordinate a complex and interconnected series of deliverables.
Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from finance and business leadership.
Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.
Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.
Take the lead in financial planning; build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance
Manage the AWS AI P&L and influence business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures
Develop short and long range financial/operational forecasts

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or CPA
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
