The primary objectives of this position is to empower data-driven strategic decision making by creating, budgeting/forecasting, analyzing, reporting and communicating financial information into actionable insights for Finance & Marketing Leadership. In this position, the Manager provides overall financial management leadership to the Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins U.S. marketing team by overseeing the financial modeling and analyses to track, forecast and report sales/revenue and Ad Spend, ultimately ensuring accurate reporting to Leadership and franchisees; own processes, work independently and contribute to overall team success; support various groups within the organization including, but not limited to: Brand Marketing, Integrated/Field Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Franchisees, various Corporate Services segments and Finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing and developing the Dunkin’ Ad Fund P&L to a new construct which entails budgeting, driving change on funding splits, new reporting capabilities both internally and externally.
Drive the Marketing and field team organization to provide accurate and timely financial projections that reflect a realistic assessment of risk and opportunity against both internal performance metrics as well as against our externally communicated guidance
Utilize trends, spend information, business knowledge, and market insight to provide timely updates on available funding for advertising activities and identify opportunities for cost savings
Perform ongoing financial analysis to ensure that marketing funds are spent in accordance with guidelines
Work to locate and improve operational efficiencies within current processes to enhance team overall group effectiveness and collaboration
Provide financial expertise and policy direction to the marketing teams
Development of Dunkin’ U.S. presentations for senior leadership team and external audiences with clear messaging and influence change
Ability to influence, streamline processes, and educate cross functional partners on financial ramifications at all levels of operational execution is critical to the success of this role
Work with peer members of the FP&A team to ensure any related balance sheet reserves are adequately established to ensure that all risks factors are accounted for and to ensure that related capital expenditures / Ad Fund cash are monitored and controlled properly
Ensure that Internal Controls are functioning as designed, reviewed and are performed as expected
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain both financial and cross-functional support for initiatives key to the Dunkin’ U.S. and our franchisees
Interact regularly with franchisees on marketing leadership teams on financial and other issues that impact the marketing funds. Manage relationship with external auditors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in a finance capacity
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in finance or business administration
Prior proven effective franchisee relationship experience a strong plus
Some level of previous personnel management experience required
Ability to effectively multi-task projects with competing priorities; make decisions under pressure and work under tight deadlines
Highly proficient in MS-Office, specifically with respect to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Practical experience with Oracle Business Intelligence a strong plus
