What You Will Do
As the Finance Manager, you will partner with the Orthopedic and Spine teams to provide strategic financial guidance and support.
Lead and manage a team of professionals, including selecting/hiring, objective-setting, performance management, compensation management, discipline, coaching/development, training and termination.
Direct oversight of analyst team to ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly reporting and projections.
Prioritize and assign work within the team or to triage works to adjacent non-financial teams
Oversight and accountability for special projects from inception to execution
Provide monthly analyses and concisely communicate results to senior management and executives
Deliver high-quality, concise narratives of significant variances to prior year, budget, and forecast.
Highlight trends and significant drivers of forecast (tell the story).
Communicate projections and budgets.
Develop reporting package to highlight spending trends and opportunities.
Communicate results and forecasts monthly with various Cost Center Owners.
Review monthly financials for accuracy including cost centers expenses, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Provide financial guidance and assistance to internal business partners.
Prepare business plans, including annual operating plans, periodic forecasts, strategic plans, and product introduction financial plans.
Create and translate operating plans and forecasts into financial plans and projections to ensure that the organization achieves its financial targets; recommend corrective action, as needed.
What You Need
Bachelor's Degree required, preferred concentration in Accounting or Finance. Prefer Master's Degree in Business Administration and/or CPA.
8+ years work experience
Applied knowledge of monthly financial statement and preparing/issuing financial statements
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, communicate (both verbally and in writing), and present financial information
Demonstrated proficiency in providing accurate financial analysis in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
