We're looking for an Intern to support our team! This is an exciting opportunity to learn and work in a fast-paced environment where you will build business relationships and develop key skills needed in the corporate world. You will work under the leaders of our team, while contributing to the development of business needs for "Brands that Inspire".
The Intern will work with the SVP, Treasury and Director, Risk Management and be mentored in their designated departments.
The intern will work on an assigned project while assisting with everyday business needs.
The Intern is a well-rounded student with good academic standing. They must be creative, organized, and ready to learn and work with a team
In this role you will be responsible for:
Risk Management Internship Scope/Projects: Assistance with Risk Management Financing Assist with the management of Coty overall insurance portfolio, including: Interface with insurers and brokers Assist with the accounting and financing of insurance related matters Annual Insurance Budget Assistance with the formation of Alternative Risk Solutions for the management of Coty risk. Assistance with creation and launch of Vendor Certificate of Insurance system Coordinate with Procurement to design and implement Corticate of Insurance tracking system for Coty vendors Liability claims management and review processing. Creation of Insurance Policy database, including historical liability policies Contract tracking Interface with Coty legal to track contracts needing Risk Management review and editing. Treasury Scope: Ad-hoc analysis including but not limited to: peer comparisons, historical share performance, interest rate and foreign exchange trends, cash flow seasonality and cycles Prepare Treasury dashboards and reporting package Review and update netting static data for consistency Organize and prepare tracker of US intercompany loans QUALIFICATIONS
We'd love to see candidates who have:
Essential:
Students who are in their junior year and working toward a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer of 2024 Exceptional organizational skills and great attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Microsoft Suite
Desirable:
Degree concentration in areas relating to (Finance, Business, Risk Management, or similar discipline) Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach A natural aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking A curious mind open to knowledge and instruction
