Job Description:
Business partner to provide business financial leadership and decision support to our marketing teams. The associate will develop analytics and insights to drive profitable growth. This role will provide performance and forecast guidance as well as appropriately calling risks and opportunities against delivering our commitments. This associate will also play a key role on the cross functional innovation project teams. In order to be successful in this role the associate must demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, is a self-starter, and feel comfortable around senior management.
Prepare the periodic performance report/commentary for the brands/cells providing insights to risks and opportunities to meeting the agreed goals.
Co-pilot innovation projects ensuring alignment to strategy and adherence to the stage gate approval processes including successfully meeting financial hurdles.
New item margin analysis including pricing and approval support for brand/cell portfolios
Drive to develop best practice of P&L efficiencies and recommendations as it relates to Investment for growth brands/seasons and cash generation.
Play a key support role to the marketing managers in the development of their volume forecast by ensuring the use of accurate assumptions and broad communication of all risks and opportunities.
Perform special projects and analyses as requested by the One Demand Finance Lead, Finance Director, or the marketing teams.
Lead various projects to analyse allocation of spend to ensure optimal effectiveness is achieved.
