Business partner works with internal business units, adapts to business unit, department, site or sub-function plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Key Responsibilities
Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and assists in the preparation of financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and ad hoc schedules. Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
Analyzes and prepares schedules to support statutory accounts and financial statements preparation.
Internal Audit, External Audit & SOX support
Provide financial support to business units activities, forecast and budget management, ensure compliance with internal company policies and accepted accounting policies and principles
Prepares or assists on tax filings, government information reports and management information reports.
Provides financial support for acquisitions, divestitures and government related activities locally
Manages and directs the activities of financial staff in the team
Develops and implements financial processes to ensure financial integrity and effective internal business controls
Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates numbers of intercompany transactions and manual journal entries, and consolidated divisional and subsidiary financial accounts on a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements
Supports and undertakes adhoc assignments and projects
Functional Knowledge
Understands financial policies and be familiar with US GAAP and IFRS
Demonstrates in-depth understanding of concepts, theories and principles of legal accounting
Business Expertise
Partners with business to assess financial implications of business strategies and provides guidance to help business meet objectives
Ability to work closely with business leaders, Business Unite Finance, and Global Corporate Accounting Group
