Job responsibilities:
As a Finance Business Manager you will optimize business performance by helping drive key initiatives, with a primary focus on business reviews, budget and headcount management. This role supports the Rewards, Regulatory and Policy (RRP) organization within HR, with a specific focus on the Global Compensation team.
Provide day-to-day support on the analysis and presentation of annual and monthly budget processes, including contribution to forecasting insights via monthly variance commentary, risks and opportunities outlooks, headcount review, open requisition management, and other trends
Manage the quarterly business review process and drive key planning sessions including engagement with the central product teams, creation of executive level summaries, senior stakeholder review and approval, and general meeting preparation
Support for RRP-wide and compensation specific employee engagement including planning and executing Townhalls, All Hands meetings, Newsletters, etc. with an eye on global inclusion and integration of dispersed teams
Own key projects for the teams supporting delivery of business priorities in the compensation organization e.g. compensation strategy for specific employee segments, compensation vehicles vs the market, or supporting broad compensation philosophy changes related to the external landscape.
Engage with control partners to organize and keep track of various action plans, audits, compliance and controls testing, and BCC agenda items
Provide subject matter expertise for vendor management in compensation, partnering with the central Finance Business Management vendor team as a key central point of contact and working with the relevant SMEs and vendor management teams to monitor activity and pull together information for requests
Prepare analysis and insights for materials (papers, presentation decks, slides etc.) across a wide range of topics and multiple different teams, often for senior management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Presentation Executive Management Skills: ability to ask probing questions, cut through the "noise," to get to the heart of an issue, and create materials to "tell the story" and address varying degrees of stakeholders through facts and data
Reporting Analytical Skills: ability to interpret and synthesize data that helps our leaders and employees understand key performance and key risk indicators and what actions we need to take
Professional maturity and personal integrity; confidence to challenge the status quo and drive change; tenacious attitude towards evolving environment and varied stakeholders. Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information on a frequent basis
