The role of the Finance Automation Designer is to leverage automation technologies, advanced analytics, and process optimisation techniques to drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation within the finance department.
For the assigned use case, the designer:
Is the first contact for the customer, manages and leads workshops
analyzes, records and documents the AS-IS process within the project scope in the pre-defined desing template format and prepares the TO-BE draft design (with review from engineer) consistent with Redwood Robotics delivery methodology
Ensures that the information regarding processes is complete and correct and the respective business requirements are included into process design, together with the definition of success criteria
Obtain stakeholders signoff for the TO-BE design and the production deployment
Drives User Acceptance Testing (UAT) workshop (organizes, trains the testers, reviews the UAT results), trains the end users and ensures implementation is accordance to agreed design.
For the global use cases the designer supports the CoE on a case-by-case basis
Contributes to the use case library and participates on the global community of designers
Competencies and requirements:
Good experience of SAP ERP (e.g. Finance, HR, SCM) as an end user/ key user or an implementation consultant
After training, ability to create comprehensive and detailed designs, bringing a business description to a level of conceptual description including logical process steps, decisions, rules, escalations, etc. as well as the related details
After training, good comprehension of business case and customer objectives regarding optimisation on RPA implementation
Experience with MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Good presentation skills and able to lead the conversation with the team to drive result
Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
Able to multi-task (multi-project) and work under tight deadlines
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in ERP implementations or digital transformation projects
