Finance and Accounting Intern Duties (including but not limited to):
Learn the process workflow of Accounting / Controllership functions and gain understanding on the journals and reconciliations of the team.
Perform clerical / administrative oversight of on-going Transformation initiatives and projects of the team.
Review the team's SOPs on the primary journals and reconciliations, and document any opportunities for improvement.
Lead/participate in site-wide and team-wide engagement activities.
Additional Job Description
Required Skills and Competencies:
Basic accounting skills
Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
KNIME or any similar automation tools preferably trained LEAN, Six-sigma trained
Leadership skills (e.g. officer in school or community organizations)
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills (i.e. with high confidence to present to top management)
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Other Important Notes:
Candidates must be graduating or 3rd year college students of Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, withinternship as official undergraduate requirement.
Candidates must be willing to work on a hybrid set-up (approximately 2 days onsite) for at least 500 hours, and willing to extend internship period if needed.
Candidates must be ready to start ASAP, or on February or March the latest, and are okay to work on day or mid shift.
