Job Title: FP&A Analyst
Reports to: Manager, FP&A ANZ. Position Location: Scoresby
Position Summary:
Strategic Business Partner to the Commercial Organization. Be part of a team that helps set, track and align business strategy, Sales Teams and key impactful Partners for Thermo Fisher Scientific ANZ
Key Responsibilities:
FP&A (Analysis and Reporting): Through data analytics and reporting. Support the sales team to optimize time in field, advise them to opportunities, and enable them to track their ongoing performance. Own system query development, providing key reports and drive reporting process improvement
Provide gap analysis and interpretation of management reports on sales trends, margin and commercial effectiveness.Prepare deep dive analysis of the business to enable understanding of divisional performances, large deal opportunities, run rate trending and overall performance vs forecast and annual plan.
Assist in preparation and presentation of key business performance review decks
Budgeting / Annual operating plan (AOP):
Work with commercial teams to provide robust data and analytics to enable Operating, Planning and implementation. Key team member leading planning, preparing, consolidation and reporting of budget.

Commercial Directors, FP&A Leader, Division Leads, VP/GM ANZ, VP, Finance APAC, Senior Leadership Team, ANZ, APAC Regional Divisional Commercial and Finance Leaders
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Advanced Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred
Experience:
Experience in driving data visualisation system, sophisticated financial modelling and forecasting along with deep understanding and experience in Hyperion Financial Planning Systems and Applications, including HFM, Essbase and PLN.
Track record in collaborator engagement and influencing, people leadership, attracting and building talent whilst driving engagement and high-performance standards
Operated optimally in heavily matrixed environment. Experienced in managing staff to deliver team goals and results and worked in fast paced environments which require agile and flexible learners for minimum 3 years.
Self-motivated, customer oriented and results minded.
Must be well organized, be able to prioritise tasks and meet non-negotiable time frames and able to maintain a High level of attention to detail and the ability to report financial results accurately and in a timely manner.
Good commercial sense and comfortable navigating through matrix organization.
Experience in working with tier 1 ERP systems, Masterpack, SAP and E1 advantageous
MS Excel and MS Power BI/Tableau skills.
