We are NOW hiring a Field Operations Project Manager to work alongside our talented Field Operations Team!
This position is remote, and based in Texas
What’s the job?
The Field Operations Project Manager will support the sales and installation of SageGlass solutions to architects, engineers, glazing contractors, owners, and general contractors. Reporting to the Field Ops Manager, this position will have a pre-sale and post-sale component: support the sales team in various technical pre-sale activities, custom sample order fulfillment, project management and commissioning, control system configuration, wiring diagrams, architectural and electrical drawing review, glass make-up and performance calculations, manufacturing system data entry, and project file documentation.
Essential Functions:
Manage multiple projects in various stages from inception to completion
Validate system specifications against design constraints (electrical power, glass size and shape, make-up)
Coordinate with Finance, Planning, Manufacturing to manage invoicing, production and delivery
Manufacturing system data entry and project configuration
Communicate with the various stakeholders on the project regarding delivery dates, troubleshooting activities, etc.
Create documents that communicate the SageGlass control system, zoning, and location of components
Perform glass structural calculations
Perform Owners Training
Creation and management of project file documentation
Continuously learn and evolve to improve effectiveness and customer experience
Communicate with the various stakeholders on how to design, specify, and install the SageGlass product
Competently illustrate and explain SageGlass controls and wiring system
Perform IGU performance calculations
Participates, as required, in the shared responsibility for all product safety and compliance, as required by Saint Gobain
Other tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
What do you bring?
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, including a degree having technical and/or electrical components preferred
2+ years' experience in EC, glazing, construction, project management, customer service, electrical required
Interpretation of architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings and specifications a plus
Proficient in the use of MS Office software
Becoming proficient in the use of other software and business systems
Capable of multitasking and prioritizing work in fast paced, dynamic environment
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and somewhat independently
Has the skill to solve problems and strong desire to please the customer
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact successfully with all types of people regardless of education or stature
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time up to a week at a time, primarily in the US, for pre-sales meetings, project pre-installation meetings, commissioning, and/or owners training
Work after normal business hours or weekends may be required on occasion to meet project needs based on schedule or project location
Wear PPE as mandated
Valid driver's license
LEED GA or AP certification preferred
