DESCRIPTION OF WORKWe are looking for someone with experience with fiscal performance and contract compliance, and knowledge of operating expenditures and asset management. You will use this experience to assist the compliance manager with developing fiscal compliance work programs to be used for the review of provider compliance with county and state financial requirements and new regulations. Compliance is a large part of the work we do, and ensures our agency is providing the most effective and efficient services possible. You will work alongside compliance staff to assist with conducting on-site monitoring reviews and resolving complications that arise during these visits. Effective communication skills are extremely crucial in this position, because you will create guides and train staff on all relative DHS, county, state, and federal regulations and policies. This is supervisory work, so you will ensure staff meet acceptable bureau standards and timelines, as well as other general supervisory duties.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Four years of experience in progressively responsible auditing or accounting work, including one year of supervisory or advanced auditing experience; and graduation from high school, supplemented by six credit hours of post high school courses in accounting. Additional training in accounting, business administration or a related field including six credit hours in accounting may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to two years of the required experience; orOne year of experience as a Field Auditor 2; orThree years of experience in progressively responsible accounting or auditing work, including one year of supervisory or advanced auditing experience, and one and one-half years of college level work, including or supplemented by six credit hours in accounting; orTwo years of experience in progressively responsible accounting or auditing work, including one year of supervisory or advanced auditing experience, and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:You must meet the.
