Broadridge's Fiduciary Services business is seeking a new Compliance Specialist (Fiduciary Services Specialist). This position works with a U.S. based product, 15(c), which requires mutual fund boards to review the expenses and performance of funds on an annual basis.
This role is responsible for supporting work between Broadridge and our clients during the contract renewal (15c) process and creates ad hoc requests, as needed. This position must be able to understand and communicate our methodology to clients as well as ensure reports are created accurately and on-time.
General Responsibilities:Supplies specialized analysis of funds and fund advice to corporate and/or institutional clients in assessment of performance of a fund manager, specifically related to Section 15(c) of the Investment Company Act of 1940.Performs due diligence, statistical analysis and documentation in support of 15(c) client needs.Implement and explain Broadridge's 15(c) methodology to both internal and external stakeholders.Manages 15c projects, coordinating of all aspects of report creation, in order to produce in-depth reports.Leads all phases of production and packaging of 15(c) materials.Influences corporate reputation as leading third-party provider of fiduciary reports in the mutual fund industry.Services as primary contact for all internal and external inquires related to client projects.Performs quality control checks on completed projects, as needed.Perform other duties, as assigned.Key Competencies and SkillsBachelor's degree requiredEuropean funds or Finance industry experience preferredProven successful project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to combine information from various sourcesAbility to manage projects with flexibility to handle frequently changing deadlinesWilling and able to work with a teamAbility to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with clientsCritical thinking and problem solving skills, i.e. the ability to make decisions and assess riskStrong organizational skillsDetail-orientedExcel, Word requiredPresentation skills preferredStatistical skills preferredHybrid Flexible at Broadridge
