Description:

The fiberglass technician will support prototype builds of the company's autonomous product, to include duties such as locating and drilling access points into cured fiberglass and bonding parts to fiberglass. They will work on a small manufacturing team (total of 10-15). An ideal candidate is someone who has a worked to do similar work on fiberglass material/frames within the marine, aviation or aerospace industry, who has a passion for mechanical projects and problem solving, and a positive attitude. Experience working in a start-up environment is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST Have a minimum of 2+ years of recent experience with:
Cured Fiberglass: locating and drilling access points, boding parts to it
Mechanical hand and power tools such as torque wrenches, drills, cutting tools, etc.
Experience working within a manufacturing or R&D environment
BEST vs. Average:
Wet layup experience with fiberglass
Experience supporting a start-up company
Hobbies include working on mechanical projects on spare time
Additional :
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Ability to Lift 50+lbs
