Start your day knowing it probably won't be typical and brand-new tasks notlisted below are bound to come up.
Select routes and place/bury drops for residential fiber plant.
Operate equipment needed to install buried drops.
Yard and landscaping restoration.
Climbing a ladder will be required for aerial drop work.
Whether flying solo or tackling the day as a team, you'll be expected towork efficiently and productively. Flexibility is key.
Select materials for use in construction of fiber distribution system.
Secure necessary locates through 1-call system before work is initiated.
Document the construction of fiber plant and provide daily and weeklyproduction reports to the Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Provide a safe work environment by being knowledgeable of and enforcing allstate, local, federal safety regulations and company safety policies.
Operate and monitor company-owned vehicle and equipment by inspectingcondition daily and maintaining a valid driver's license.
Restoration work - duties as assigned.
Ability to accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediatehome office area based on client needs, business needs and project scope.
You will be expected to lift up to 100 pounds.
Other duties as assigned.
Colorado Residents: typical pay range for this role will be from $18.00 -$20.00 per hour depending on experience.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred physical labor experience
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Thorough knowledge of ALLO construction procedures.
Ability to gain knowledge of fiber construction and material.
Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and the ability to learnSmartsheets.
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers, contractors andcompany employees.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to travel outside of the home office area for extended periods of timebased on project and business need.
MUST BE ABLE TO:
Must be minimum 21 yrs of age, DOT requirement to cross state lines
Operate a company vehicle
