T he Feather Operator is responsible for, safely and efficiently operating the properties’ feather hydrolyzer and associated rendering equipment to produce a high quality finished product that will meet all food safety plan and production requirements.

Must follow all established safety guidelines of company and identify conditions that may cause an unsafe condition or a food safety hazard.

Record all information according by to the Food Safety Plan and CGMPs.

Responsible for daily inspection of equipment to ensure safe operation, food safety and performance specifications.

Employee is responsible for communicating any issues with safety, Food safety plan or and production limitations with the management team.

Operator will monitor raw material bins, flow ways and all finished storage bins, to ensure proper food safety and production efficiency.

Must monitor all mechanical systems to report any safety, food safety plan or mechanical issues, and be able to react accordingly.

Preforms all necessary housekeeping duties in assigned areas.

May have to assist maintenance.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be capable of communicating in both oral and written formats.

Must have an understanding of the fundamental principles of manufacturing.

Must possess effective communication skills.
