Job descriptionThe Dispute Resolution Center is seeking a responsible and professional individual to work with parents during coached visitations with their children at designated visit locations throughout Orange and Sullivan County. Visit Coaching is a strength-based approach to work with clients to meet parenting goals. Hours and days may vary depending on visit schedule which could include Saturday when needed.Qualifications:Four year college degree required and equivalent work experience in Child Welfare/Human Services.Valid and clean NYS Driver LicenseExperience working with low-income familiesKnowledge of child developmentKnowledge of car seat safety and proper installation is a plusResponsibilities:Ensure safety of children during visitation with parentsProvide support and guidance to parents working toward meeting specific parenting goalsComplete written reports of visitationsMaintain regular communication with DSS Caseworkers and Visit Coach CoordinatorMaintain travel log and gas receipts for company owned vehicle.Transportation of parents or children in company car onlyBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid time offSchedule:Weekends as needed
