  Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager (Onsite) reporting to the Production & Facility Senior Manager, you will lead the Facilities Function for the Wilson, NC site. This role includes the management and procurement of capital equipment, both future and existing assets, and ensuring the site is a safe, clean, well maintained, reliable, comfortable, and overall, a world class manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively lead the Maintenance team in support of operational goals and requirements, ensuring the continued service of all building systems including wastewater treatment, electrical power distribution, HVAC, security and a wide variety of production and engineering/research equipment.Supports assessment and evaluation of physical space requirements of the organization and execution of plans to meet needs. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance. Conducts machine inventories and arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required equipment. Manages facilities contractor management process. Relocation assistance is available.Primary Responsibilities:

  Oversee the Facility / Campus including the building, grounds, security, and workings of the systems. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for all equipment, systems, and buildings on the manufacturing site.Manage and facilitate the capital planning and project management oversight for the site Operation.Manage and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements (Building Codes, Electrical Codes, ADA, etc.)Emergency preparedness and business continuity - maintain site Business Resilience PlansManage sitewide and facility related parts and service contracts ensuring value, safety, governance, and accurate/planned billing.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and maintenance. Own site contractor management, training, and governance site wide.Environment stewardship and sustainability - lead the site towards any future environmental goals and levels such as GHGs, Recycling etc.Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the facilities are meeting the needs of the manufacturing process.Plan and manage facilities budget to plan. Align with finance to ensure forecasted accuracy.Improve the costs / profitability of the site by managing and improving on:monthly budgets, including cost center reviews, allocations, large or special project & capital spend.Coach / guide / mentor / assist direct reports and indirect including subcontract employeesCross-train across levels and disciplines to eliminate and prevent future single points of failure.Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experienceStrong technical knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.Experience in leadership/management rolesTechnical knowledge of manufacturing processes (Facilities interface)Experience in Microsoft office productsU.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
