Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Facilities Team conducts facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing, and real estate coordination. They closely advise company and vendor representatives, coordinating major facility constructions, modifications, leasing, and real estate activities.
TE Connectivity is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of multiple sites in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and an eye for detail. The Facility Manager will ensure the facilities' safety, security, and cleanliness and manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Space Planning and Utilization:
Plan and optimize the use of available space within the facilities.Coordinate office relocations and reconfigurations as needed.
Facility Maintenance:
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the facilities.Ensure all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, kitchens, and more) are operational and efficient.Schedule and complete routine inspections of buildings and services.Coordinate facility enhancements and improvement projects.Liaison with building property managers at leased facilities to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed timely.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the facility budget, including operating and capital expenditures.Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective services.Track expenses and analyze financial statements to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Safety and Security:
Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency procedures.Monitor and maintain security systems, including access control and surveillance.Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for employees.
Vendor Management:
Source, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with facility-related vendors and contractors.Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.Resolve disputes and issues with vendors in a timely and efficient manner.
Team Leadership:
Supervise/Oversee facility staff, including in-house and outsourced maintenance technicians and janitorial personnel.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Compliance and Regulations:
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and certifications related to facility management.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility management activities.
What your background should look like:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or demonstrated ten years experience in Facilities Management in lieu of Degree.Minimum five years experience as a Facility Manager or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of facility management best practices, regulations, and guidelines.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in computer software, including facility management systems (Maximo) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions based on findings.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $107,920 - $161,880 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust fields depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
