As a Facilities Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage a team of Mechanical Engineers and Technicians to safely drive world class 24x7 facility operations and Technology Development. In addition, you will manage outside contractors/vendors who operate, maintain and improve our Facilities.
Drive Operations Objectives and Key Results including Safety, reliability, cost effectiveness, enabling Intel's growth, commissioning of new systems as well as the transfer of any new technology development .
Partner and interface with external stakeholders, such as Group Leaders (GLs) in other CS disciplines and partnership with stakeholders external to CS (PTD Technology Development, D1 Ops Factory Operations, EHS Environmental Health and Safety, etc.) to enable world class operations.
Foster a team culture in which safety, procedural adherence, operational excellence, results orientation, fearless innovation, customer focus and inclusivity are foundational.
Set priorities and drive execution of routine and non-routing work to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.
Set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, develop employees, and manage performance.
Effective partnership with shift GLs on sustaining operations.
Manage mechanical operations including metrology on owned equipment, system controls, interfacing with multi cross discipline engineers-technicians, setting focus, discipline, and engineering led culture, Plan of Record POR ownership and CE, transfer to HVMs.
Provide leadership in the implementation and adherence of Statistical Process Control.
Ensuring that operational documents such as Sequence of Operation (SOOs), Technical Troubleshooting Specs (TSS), and maintenance procedures are detailed and accurate.
Support review of component matching database (CMD), design and construction as assigned.
Responsible for Plan of Record and communication with HVMs.
Perform effective presentations.
Partner/interface with other CS-TD engineering disciplines.
Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
Driving results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related engineering field with 4+ years related experience in facilities management. OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related engineering field with 3+ years of related experience in facilities management. OR
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related engineering field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous CS facilities system owner or fab management/leadership experience
Knowledgeable in facilities operations, technology development, and process transfer
2+ years of experience in semiconductor factory operations
Proven track record as a facilities technology leader

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
