As a Facilities Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage the performance of a team of experienced engineers and program managers that oversee campus and facilities operations including offices, lab, and datacenters.
Set an inspiring vision for world-class quality and reliability performance of our facility systems. Drive a strategy to enable a zero-interrupt customer experience. Influence successful quality outcomes through developing strong quality leadership, employee engagement and continuous improvement.
Manage the scope of the facilities systems maintenance program, partnering with Integrated Facilities Management supplier to deliver high uptime operations.
Research and implement new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency and service excellence.
Harness financial data to perform financial analysis, develop annual spending forecasts, and actively track spending within budgetary constraints.
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management, influence and superb collaboration skills with the other Corporate Services managers, Site Managers/Site Operations Managers and the relevant engineering teams to align on strategies, roadmaps and priorities.
Oversee the overall building and facilities maintenance program for multiple sites throughout the Bay Area.
Oversee the management of site based capital projects, including equipment installations and facilities upkeep projects through General Contractor engagement.
Integrate site operations teams to new areas as construction projects transition to the sustaining team.
Facilitate discussions and negotiations to drive site strategy within scope of responsibility.
Oversee the safety, reliability, and cost effective operations of Bay Area campuses.
Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of applicable experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience. Degree should be in Business Administration, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
Experience should be in facilities engineering and/or operations with 2+ years of personnel management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in leading high performing facilities engineering teams
Experience in Integrated Facilities Management
Familiarity with critical environments, datacenter technologies and related critical facilities systems.
A strong track record in developing, socializing and executing project roadmaps on schedule and budget.
Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities through a rational, data driven approach while keeping disparate stakeholders engaged and informed.
Financial and business acumen with emphasis on cost optimization, supplier management, and capital project management.
Experience in developing annual spending forecasts and managing to established budgets/targets.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
