We are better together and together We Are Altasciences.About The RoleThe Facilities Associate II will assist and scheduled the maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities.What You'll Do HereNotifies management when major repairs or additions are needed to lighting, heating, andventilating equipment.Maintains building by performing general painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, boilermaintenance and other related maintenance activities.Oversees and assist in HVAC and makes minor repairs and conducts environmentalmonitoring.Maintains records on equipment to GLP requirements.What You'll Need to SucceedHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least 5 year construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.5 year facilities or related maintenance experience.Basic computer skills.Knowledge of basic math skills.The language skills required include, but are not limited to: the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, software manuals, study documents, and procedure manuals; the ability to write routine reports and correspondence; the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Ability to work holiday, weekends and evening hours as needed.Wears appropriate PPE in accordance with policies and procedures. PPE may include, but is not limited to: N-95 respirator, face mask, safety glasses, goggles, face shield, gloves, lab coat, scrubs, shoe covers, hair bouffant, hearing protection, and hard hat.Handles and disposes biological and/or chemical substances and wastes in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.What We OfferThe pay range estimated for this position is $21.73 - $30.43 hourly.
